Dampt sculpted busts, plaster & ivory, including the statue of the composer

Bizet in the foyer of the Opera-Comique in Paris.

As a member of the Groupe des Cinq he designed several pieces of carved wood furniture.

He created the sensual statue of the Knight Raymondin in full armour embracing the diaphanously clad ivory body of his beloved.
His awards included a Gold Medal at the 1889 Exposition Universelle & he was made

Chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur in 1889, Officer in 1900 & Commandeur in 1926
